Focus
The organizers cordially invite you to participate in the Joint Annual Meeting of the International Cytokine Society and the International Society for Interferon and Cytokine Research to be held October 3-7, 2010 at, Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
The overall theme of this conference is Cytokines in Infectious Diseases, Autoimmune Disorders, and Cancer.
The topics at this conference will cover the spectrum from basic science to clinical, biotechnological and pharmaceutical research. Research from this area of immunology has been directly responsible for the development of growth factors and their application in hematology, for novel treatments in oncology, for a new generation of anti-inflammatory drugs, and for treatments for multiple sclerosis, hepatitis and viral syndromes.
Senior scientists, young investigators, physicians, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry would all benefit from the interactions available at this conference.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Cytokines and Inflammation
- Cytokine Signaling
- Novel Therapeutic Targets in Malignancies
- Cytokine-based Therapies
- Cytokines and Immunoregulation
- MicroRNAs and Post-Transcriptional Regulation
- Infectious Agents and Cytokine Induction
- Interferons and Viral Infections
- Cytokines in T Cell Biology/Adaptive Immunity
- Cytokines in Immune Cell Development and Differentiation
- Cytokines and Cell Death
- Methods of Cytokine Detection
Leading scientists have already agreed to participate in this conference. The International Advisory Committee is committed to focusing on biomedical advances and their application in the areas of inflammation, infectious diseases, oncology, neurology and immunology.
